Voted the Copper Country's #1 Florist!
Community Service

We  believe in giving back to our community!

Did you know that for every $100 spent in a locally owned shop, $63 stays locally! Returns from big box stores is only $23 for every $100 spent!

Not only does the money stay local, but it offer the opportunities for locally owned shops to give back to the community in other ways, too!

We donate flowers for the Homecoming Court at Finlandia University.
It is a private university located just
down the street from our shop!
Jen graduated from Finlandia University!

We decorate for Armed Services Day and participate in the nation's largest Armed Services Day parade!

It is our way of saying "Thank you to those who serve to protect all of us!"

We support and participate in the local Heikinpaiva Festival each January! It's a Finnish-American celebration of mid-winter.
From wife-carrying and boot throwing contests, to classes in making squeaky cheese and nisu bread, a parade, tori, and more, this event brings 1000's of people to the Hancock area to celebrate this area's Finnish heritage.

The motto flowers before bread expresses Little Brothers ~Friends of the Elderly's core belief that sharing love and respect and bringing beauty into the lives of the elderly is as essential as meeting their physical needs. We are proud to donate to this organization for all that they do to help our elders! From donating flowers to delivering
meals to shut-ins, we are happy to help out!

We donated flowers for the Michigan Technological University Homecoming. However, we didn't order the snow that fell that day! Congratulations King Joe Gallo and Queen Natalie Minott!
