About Us
Kukkakauppa Flower Shop, located in the heart of the Copper Country offers quality flowers and plants with delivery world-wide. We strive to exceed the customer's expectations with quality flowers, plants, and gift baskets, service with a smile, and delivery on time!Managed by Jenifer Burkhouse and her family, it's not unusual to see the 8 kids helping out from taking orders, watering plants, designing displays, or charming you, the customer.
Jen, and husband/owner Dale Burkhouse, trained under Ardith Bevridge of the Koehler and Dramm Institute in Minneapolis, MN.
Kelly stocks cards of every type... She also owns and operates Klynn Creations, which offers jewelry and glass etched mugs, glasses, mirrors, vases, and more!
She also owns Kelly's Kids, a local daycare! She uses her talents even with crafts with her kids!
Tom helps to keep the store in ship-shape condition from vaccuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, to general up-keep. You may even see him delivering flowers or a plant to you... always with a smile!
He's the Rent-A-Santa for the Kukkakauppa as well as our Male Singing Telegram!
He's an MTU student with plans to eventually teach
Skip, a sophomore in high school, helps to stock the Yooper items, including the "Say yah to da U.P., eh?" bumperstickers!
When he's not working hard at the store, you'll find him on a basketball court or soccer field.
Jenna enjoys stopping in after
school or in the summer after-
noons to dust, arrange mugs,
or work on window displays.
When not helping mom at the
store she's kicking soccer goals,
chatting on-line with friends,
or watching Disney channel!
Dale works hard to order
what we need for when
we need it!
He's also a designer who
studieded under Ardith
Bevridge of Kohler and
Dramm Floral Institute.
